The UF Libraries and UF’s Information Technology (UFIT) are wonderfully close and productive collaborators. For my work on the socio-technical support (people, policies, technologies) for scholarly cyberinfrastructure and digital scholarship, I’m very lucky to be able to regularly collaborate with great folks from UFIT’s Research Computing. UFIT did a recent news story on the collaboration with the UF Libraries and Research Computing, shown and linked here, and they also did a story in the GatorTimes. It’s simply spectacular to work with so many great people and such a fabulously collaborative environment where we support and promote each other as part of our regular practices and habits, as well as for our celebrations like the 8th anniversary of the UF Digital Collections (UFDC)!
For a longer history of the exciting collaborative work at the University of Florida with Research Computing and the Libraries, focused on data management/curation and digital humanities, see
