Join us at THATCamp Gainesville, 24th & 25th April, at the University of Florida

We invite you to THATCamp Gainesville, on 24th and 25th April in Smathers Library 100 (1A). THATCamp, The Humanities and Technology Camp, is an unconference which fosters informal and productive conversations about Digital Humanities projects, topics, and skills.
Since this is an unconference, participants propose sessions directly on the website, where other participants can read and comment on them. The final schedule will be collaboratively created by the participants on the morning of 24th April. You can browse all the session proposals here: http://gainesville2014.thatcamp.org/
Some DHWG members have already submitted session proposals on the website, and we hope that more of you will propose sessions, and join us at the unconference. If you would like to learn more about the kinds of sessions offered at THATCamp or you are ready to Propose a session, please go here http://gainesville2014.thatcamp.org/propose/
To get started, please register here http://gainesville2014.thatcamp.org/register/ There is no registration cost.
THATCamps provide a good space to network and brainstorm. This year, we expect many UF folks to attend, as well as the dynamic mix of attendees found at other THATCamps from many institutions, including graduate students, scholars, librarians, archivists, museum professionals, developers and programmers, K-12 teachers, administrators, managers, and funders as well as people from the non-profit sector, people from the for-profit sector, and interested amateurs. We’ve heard from folks at UCF, USF, and the University of Miami who plan to attend.
We hope that you will join us!
And, stay in touch:
