UF Student Jobs, Internships with the University Press of Florida/UF Press, Fall 2021

University Press of Florida is seeking interns for the Fall 2021 semester. The internship program offers students of all majors the opportunity to gain employment experience in the business of book publishing.

Please note that University Press of Florida internships are being offered this semester as Student OPS and Federal Work Study positions and applications must be submitted through https://jobs.ufl.edu/. Below are brief descriptions of each position and direct links to apply.

Acquisitions Intern (OPS)
The Acquisitions Intern assists the Acquisitions department of the University Press of Florida and works on book projects at all stages of the acquisitions process, and performs other clerical duties as assigned. Editorial Intern (OPS)
The Editorial Intern assists the Editorial Department of the University Press of Florida in the transformation of a book manuscript into a printed and bound volume, and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Marketing Intern (Federal Work Study)
The Marketing Intern assists the Marketing Department of the University Press of Florida in spreading the word about books published by the Press to readers everywhere, helping find, grow, and interact with audiences for UPF books. The position also performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Marketing Design Intern (Federal Work Study)
The Marketing Design Intern assists the Marketing Department of the University Press of Florida in designing promotional materials for books published by the Press. Familiarity with basic design principles and software is required. This position is ideal for students with applied experience designing for print and digital media. A portfolio is strongly preferred; please submit if available.
