Job in the UF Libraries: IT Expert – Developer/Programmer for NEH Grant

The University of Florida George A. Smathers Libraries are hiring an “IT Expert – Developer/Programmer” for an NEH (National Endowment for the Humanities) grant-funded position (full job posting).
This is an excellent position where the person will get to work with, expand, and enhance the  SobekCM system and tools that support the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) and the  UF Digital Collections specifically in regards to the Unearthing St. Augustine grant project (see the press release and the full grant proposal) over almost the next two years. This position will work with a great colleagues within UF and with many external partners for the project.  This is an excellent position to learn about and really contribute to digital library systems, interfaces, collections, and users. This is a very exciting opportunity for those interested in working with digital library and digital scholarship resources.
I’m excited that another person will be joining the awesome UF and project teams!
