UF Data Center Emergency Outage, affects UFDC and dLOC likely until end of today (4/4/2016)

The UF Data Center is experiencing a very rare outage. This is impacting the UF Digital Collections (UFDC) and Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC), along with the DHWG site and others.
Per the alerts message:

UFIT broad storage system outage: myUFL and Hosted Servers affected

4/4/2016 9:51am – Emergency

UFIT Hosting customers with servers in the UF Data Center and myUFL continue to be impacted as the storage system remains offline.

Please note that customers can and are using myUFL, however, myUFL is running in a degraded state. Particularly, processes that require attachments or file uploads are known to not be working.
UFIT personnel are continuing to work with vendor engineers to fully restore access to any remaining systems. Vendor engineers have identified an issue with part of the storage system and are working towards a resolution. At this time full recovery is not expected until towards the end of the day Monday.

I’m very grateful for the very low down/out time with the UF Data Center. I appreciate the work being done by UFIT. At this time, we request the patience of partners, patrons, researchers, students, and publics as UFIT works to verify all data and bring all systems back online.
