About SobekCM
The SobekCM Open Source software is in use by institutions around the world and has innovative and extensive support for GLAMs (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums). At UF, SobekCM powers the UF Digital Collections as well as collaborative libraries like the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC). SobekCM allows users to discover online resources via semantic and full-text searches, as well as a variety of different browse mechanisms. For each digital resource in the repository there are a plethora of display options. In addition to robust support for user access, SobekCM provides fully-featured support for partners with integrated digital curation tools for processing materials, online metadata editing, and online submissions.
