On July 29, The White House released a new “Executive Order — Creating a National Strategic Computing Initiative.” This is incredibly important reading in its entirety. Also, the OSTP has a blogpost “Advancing U.S. Leadership in High-Performance Computing” discussing the initiative, and it includes a link to a factsheet on this important initiative. More will certainly be coming out in the next few days, months, and years, with this being a critical initiative to support research, innovation, and advancement.
