Job: UF Libraries, European Studies Librarian – come join our amazing team!

Please see the full position vacancy announcement below. Please note that the UF Libraries are very open and inclusive, and the required qualification line “Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program or advanced degree in relevant subject specialty” really does mean OR. I became a librarian at UF based on an OR line like this. I have a PhD in English/Digital Humanities (so, an “advanced degree in relevant subject speciality” for my area); I do not have a Library/Information Science degree. I’m not an exception or a rarity in the UF Libraries, with so many great colleagues with rich and varied backgrounds. I strongly encourage people to apply, and hope we see many candidates with diverse backgrounds.
