UF’s Fall 2013 Research Computing Day, focused on processing Big Data, is certain to be another great Research Computing Day event with folks from all across campus coming together to learn and share about resources and opportunities. It’s a great event to meet great people, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing new people!

The focus of the Fall 2013 ‘RC Day’ is processing Big Data.
Presentation topics include Research Computing Support for Geographic Information Systems,Research Computing Infrastructure for Image Processing of the Brain, and Privacy, Law, and IT Considerations for Research.
There will also be a panel discussion on current/future research computing needs.

Lunch opens at 12:00pm, with the presentations and the panel discussion scheduled for 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
