CFP: Microform & Digitization Review Preservation and Access Issues for Cultural Heritage Institutions

The editor is seeking authors to write on variety of topics:
– Case studies of innovative digitization projects (use of specialized digitization equipment, web 2.0 features, etc.)
– Digitization projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or South America
– Digital preservation
– Digitization of museum collections
– Digital media centers for student / faculty use
– Digitization of special formats (videos, newspapers, maps, etc.)
– Microfilm as a component of a digitization project (e.g., as a preservation format)
We are also seeking reviewers for the following new books:
– Digitally Archiving Cultural Objects (Springer, 2011)
– Engaging Students with Archival and Digital Resources (Chandos, 2011)
– I, Digital: Personal Collections in the Digital Era (Society of American Archivists, 2011)

– Preparing Collections for Digitization (Facet Publishing, 2011)
