ALA Annual Conference 2008

by laurien • June 25, 2008 • Comments Off

The ALA Annual Conference begins tomorrow in Anaheim. I’ve been too busy to put together my schedule thus far, but I’ll soon have my days planned out and I’ll add them here. In case anyone else is still reading and re-reading the schedules (and for my own quick reference), LITA has a quick list here and ALCTS has a quick list here.

About

I'm the Digital Humanities Librarian in the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida. My work focuses on data curation, digital curation, and socio-technical needs for scholarly cyberinfrastructure. I work heavily with the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC), University of Florida Digital Collections (UFDC), and the Open Source SobekCM software and tools. I am the Technical Director for the international collaborative Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC).

This website chronicles my work building, preserving, and ensuring findability and usability for research, teaching, digital humanities, and other digital scholarship products and projects. This site is not in any way from/by UF. The information and views expressed on this blog are mine alone.
